Remember Me

Remember Me: 2010

IMDB: 7.2

Cast: Robert Pattinson (as Tyler Hawkins), Emilie de Raven (as Ally Craig), Pierce Brosnan (as Charles Hawkins)

Tyler is a university student. His brother committed suicide at his age and that affected him deeply. He always thought about him and that made him a bit depressed. He got arrested once and was very angry with the cop that arrested him. He made a plan and started dating his daughter to hurt him but as he kept spending time with her, he fell in love with her. A lot of things happened in his life but he never forgot about his brother. When everything went wrong, he committed suicide at the same age as his brother.

Personal Thoughts: It was a sad movie so don't watch it if you're looking for something light and fun. I liked Tyler. He's an emotional character. Robert Pattinson fits the character in that way. Tyler is sensitive, caring, and very obviously sad. His family pressures him so much that he ends up committing suicide. My favourite thing in the movie was how he cared about his sister. When bullies in the school ruined her hair, he came to school with her to make sure no one says anything to her. I really liked the movie because it gives you this sad feeling but not the sad that'll make you cry. Melancholy is the right word for it I guess.

Cashback

Cashback: 2006

IMDB: 2006

Cast: Sean Biggerstaff (as Ben Willis), Emilia Fox (Shannon Pintey)

The movie is basically is about making the small moments of life better. Ben has some kind of superpower. He can slow down the time or stop it entirely. It helps him see the beauty in some moments. He is an artist so he always finds a way to see the beauty in everything, even in small particles of dust floating in the air. It all starts when he was young. As a kid, he adored the female body so he started drawing it. Later on, he has a girlfriend named Suzie. He was in love with her when she breaks up with him. He feels sad and doesn't know what to do without her, so a bit randomly, he signs up for a job at a supermarket. He meets a girl there and notices the beauty in every move of her. Overall, it is about realising the beauty that you won't notice normally.

Personal Thoughts: I would've loved to be able to do what Ben can do because some moments really need to be looked at closely. For example, the moment you have everything and you're simply happy is a moment Ben considers. After I watched this movie, I've been trying to memorise the moments I was happy and it works. It made me a lot more positive than I used to be. Remembering the beauty in things makes it infinite, and I think this is what Ben does throughout the movie. Ben is an emotional character. He's shy and a little bit quiet. I really like that he can find something beautiful in everything. For example, when he was a child, he thought the girl with the hairy arm was beautiful. He didn't think she was disgusting. Also when Suzie was in bed with him, he even realised the beauty of the dust that became visible with light. I like how artists' minds work. Shannon said the same thing to Ben too. That's why I like her character, she's sweet. I think she's very beautiful. The ending of the movie was a bit cliché, but still, I liked it. I liked the bit where Shannon got to see how he sees her. It was really beautiful.

Me, Earl and the Dying Girl

Me, Earl and the Dying Girl: 2015

IMDB: 7.8

Cast: Thomas Mann (as Greg), R.J. Tyler (as Earl), Olivi Cooke (as Rachel)

First of all it's not a regular cancer movie. It's positive through the beginning to the end. Greg doesn't belong to a group because he's afraid that he won't be loved so he doesn't attach to anyone besides Earl. Later on, her mother insists on him talking to the dying girl across the street. That's how they met. It was awkward in the first few hours because they were just hanging out because she was dying but then, with the help of some pillows, they started to become so much more than just awkward strangers to each other. It's not certain if Greg likes him different then friendship or not so you're free to think what you like. Greg's one passion is to make movies with Earl. Rachel wants to watch all of them before she dies. There's no hint that if she's going to die though. you should find out yourself. (Ps: don't read my personal thoughts before you watch. I tend to give soo much spoilers)

Personal Thoughts: One of the sweetest movies I've ever watched. One of my friend recommended it and I first thought It would be another version of "the fault in our stars". Not that I hated that movie. It just became so ordinary and I don't like looking at illnesses as "ordinary". So I don't usually watch those kinds of movies. Luckily I liked the movie so much. Firs of all, Greg's inner thoughts are so much  relatable. He's always scared to get hurt and not be loved. He always underrates himself. Rachel doesn't like that. About their relationship, they're the cutest friends ever. If they were a couple, I wouldn't feel the same way about them. Their relationship is so pure, innocent and loving. They're both different. I call these people "detailist". It basically means, they like details and the small stuff they notice makes them happy. For example, Graig's passion for making movies. I especially noticed it in the movie he made for Rachel. He added so much little details in it and they just looked beautiful as a whole. He also didn't  miss to add the pillows into it. See, detailist people don't forget those details even in conversations and they become something beautiful and big eventually. I liked the Earl character. Earl is just so cool and funny. He hangs out with Rachel and Greg and they all fit each other so much. Another character I loved was Graig's father. He has a funny personality. he resembles so much of my own father. They both like to talk about random philosophical stuff out of no where. I generally like those kinds of people. Lastly, Rachel. She's cute, cool and sad on the inside. She hides her fear of death till the last minute. It was great that she was such a good friend to Graig. In the last scene, there's an interesting message. You never completely know someone. You keep getting to know them even after they're dead. For example he didn't know Rachel liked to cut the books and make shapes out of them. Rachel was so much more actually. She drew squirrels all around her room. They were like a hint to follow. It was really interesting. Another scene I really liked was when Earl, Rachel and Graig were hanging out, eating ice cream on the stairs of somewhere. It was a simple scene but they were all happy. Rachel remembered that small moment they lived and made that moment by cutting the inside of a book. I like how it carries an importance to her. Not any moment but that one. The message of the movie was about friendship. The last thing that Rachel did was to apply collage for Graig. She wrote a recommendation letter for him before she died and it was really sweet.

It's Kind of a Funny Story

It's Kind of a Funny Story: 2010

IMDB: 7.2

Cast: Emma Roberts (as Noelle), Keir Gilchrist (as Craig)

Craig is a student in a respected school. He has good friends and a bright way to future but he's not happy from the inside. His parents push him to a future he doesn't want and he' in love with his best friend's girlfriend. He doesn't have anybody to talk to so he feels depressed and checks himself to a hospital. He meets new people like Noelle and Bobby. They make him feel better day by day. In the end, he feels comfort and sanity.

Personal Thoughts: The role fitted Emma Roberts so much. She always has this different impression that fits into certain kids of roles. Craig's illness is a common problem of today's teenagers. It's actually not being suicidal. It's just not knowing what you want in life and no one guiding you. Noelle was good for him even if she didn't seem normal compared to other people. I liked the game that they've played when they met each other. It was not like the boring, regular kind of meeting. I think the message was you don't have to be like other people to be considered normal. I liked it. I promise, you won't be bored.

Safety Not Guaranteed

Safety Not Guaranteed: 2012

IMDB: 7

Cast: Audrey Plaza (as Darius), Karan Soni (as Arnau), Jake Johnson (as Jeff), Mark Duplass (as Kenneth)

Kenneth is not a regular guy. He believes in time travel and he looks for a company. Everyone thinks he's crazy. Darius is an intern in a magazine and takes the job as the time traveller's company. Their aim is to go back to 2001 for some reasons. Darius wants to go back to the day when her mother died and fix it but doesn't really believes time travelling. She just takes the job for the internship but day by day she feels more connected to Kenneth. Kenneth wants to go back because he wants to save his girlfriend form dying. The journey was nothing they've expected.

Personal Thoughts: It was really sweet. Besides, it makes you imagine which is good. In one scene Kenneth said he was looking for some kind of innocent pureness in the world. That's why he posted that add. I really liked that he believed in the world and wanted someone to believe in him. Darius was a perfect fit to him. They were both adventurous, different and sweet in a unique way. They perfectly fitted each other. Kenneth looked like a weird person from the outside but on the inside he's the guy that writes songs to the girl he loves, learns writing codes, leaves notes to himself form the past. Darius sees this unique part of him which everyone considers "not normal". Kenneth tells Darius that his girlfriend's house was hit by a car but actually he hit her boyfriend's house with his car. He's not delusional. He just wishes things happened in a different way. For example, in one scene he said "I wish I could stop the jerks that hit her". I think he feels regret and considers himself as a jerk. The reason why he said the girl was dead is because for him, after that day she was no different than a dead person for him. He never got to see her again. He wants to erase that feeling and start over until he met Darius. Everything changed for both of them. In the end, even if nobody believed in Kenneth, he invented the time machine and they traveled back in time together.

Love, Rosie

Love, Rosie: 2014

IMDB: 7.2

Cast: Lily Colins (as Rosie Dunn), Sam Claflin (as Alex Stewart)

Love Rosie is about the friendship of two best friends. They like each other since day one but none of them tells the other anything. They go to prom with different people, get married to different people... But in their hearts, they always have each other even if they don't know. It's the really sweet story of the lives of those two person.

Personal Thoughts: I watched the movie twice. One for the first time and other because I was bored and it's a really good movie. I can guarantee you, you won't get bored. Lily Colins has the ultimate eyebrows and she's really cute in this one. I loved their British accents. The story was beautiful from the beginning to the end. It's a common thing that happens in a lot of teenager's life. That's why it's so relatable. My favourite scene was where Alex wrote Rosie a letter about his feelings about her and Rosie seeing it later, realising everything. She was so hopeful but then she saw Bethany in his apartment and heard they were getting married. It pretty much explained the whole situation. There's always something on their way. But it's the thing that makes the story interesting. I liked that the movie starts from where they were children and ends when they were adults. Over the period of their life, their ways separate constantly but still, they never leave each other. After watching it, I wished to have a friendship like their's. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Now You See Me

Now You See Me 2: 2016

IMDB: 7.1

Cast: Daniel Radcliffe (as Walter Marby), Dave Franco (as Jack Wilder), Mark Buffalo (as Dylan Rhodes), Lizzy Caplan (as Lula), Jesse Eisenberg (as J. Daniel Atlas)

It's the second movie of Now You See Me, but you don't have to watch the first one. Basically there's a group of magicians called "the horseman" and they're being watched by other people. Those people reveal their secrets to the world and threaten them to expose them to the world. The leader of those people is Walter Marby. He invents a chip that can hack every computer on earth. No one knows that he's still alive because he's also a criminal. His chip is stolen and he has to get it back so he gets the horseman to get his chip back by threatening them. The horseman gets the chip but doesn't actually give that to him. Instead, they do something Walter Marby never would've imagined.

Personal Thoughts: It was wonderful. Especially the parts where they did magic tricks. I think Jesse Eisenberg was pretty attractive:) I loved the scene where they stole the chip. Also everyone was playing each other tricks which was cool. You never know who played a trick on who. I liked Daniel Radcliffe and he was funny in this one. He was a bit crazy. I liked the scene where he kidnapped the horseman and took funny pictures of them while they were hypnosed and made a video from those pictures. I had a good time watching it. The ending was so cool:)

Girl, interrupted

Girl, interrupted: 1999

IMDB: 7.3

Cast: Angelina Jolie (as Lisa Rowe), Wiona Ryder (as Susanna Kaysen)

It's a biographical movie of Susanna Kaysen. She has an illness that makes her hallucinate. They've put her into a hospital after she accidentally tried to kill herself. In the hospital, she has experienced lots of weird and heartbreaking things. At first, she had a hard time blending in. After that, she met Lisa, who has power on everyone because of her cruelness. No one likes to argue with her. Susanna starts to like Lisa, and when Lisa proposes to run away, she said yes. The death of someone they both knew, brings her back to reality. After that, Susanna never thought of killing herself. On the other hand, Lisa's reaction was completely different from Susanna's. She took the dead girl's money, in fact, she made her kill herself. Susanna knew she had to stay away from Lisa even if she likes her. She got better over time and went back home. It's about her experiences there as a "crazy" person and then as a "normal" person. When she went back home she still didn't know what the difference was. She learned that even if the world is ordinary and full of shit, she has the chance to live there.

Personal Thoughts: I liked the movie. It was a bit long so watch it if you have time or try to watch it on separate days. The thing that made the movie more interesting was Lisa's aggressive personality and Susanna's poetic way of thinking. They were completely different but somehow they've managed to be friends. Angelina Jolie was so much different from her latest movies. I've never seen her like this but it was a good performance. Lisa does whatever she wants because she has no hope of getting herself out of the hospital.  In one scene she said "I'll miss you" to Susanna when she was getting out of the hospital. Susanna was hopeful compared to Lisa. She said she doesn't have to miss her because she believed Lisa was going to get out of there too. Another thing about Lisa is that she gained her power by being cruel and using other people's weaknesses, but under that layer, I believe she actually can be a good person. Lisa's power over people is so obvious that when she blows smoke to an old woman's face, she doesn't even say a thing but when Susanna does the same thing just to see if she'll react, she does react. They all have some bad stuff that they've been through. For example, Daisy's dad molesting her and Polly burning her face and never liking herself after that. Susanna doesn't have a specific problem. I think she just doesn't like her life and feels like she doesn't fit in. She feels like her family and everyone else is just being fake and not actually living. I'm glad that I've seen this movie. The performances were fantastic and it was a pretty different movie than what I would normally watch. However, I would like to stress that it has pretty dark themes in it so watch it if you're not sensitive to those kinds of things.

Secret Window

Secret Window: 2004

IMDB: 6.6

Cast: Johnny Depp (as Mort Rainey)

The story is originally taken from one of Stephen King's books, "secret window". As you can imagine, it's kind of a horror movie but not really. It's about a writer, Mort, who copies his work form someone else. He thinks that the original writer of the book follows him and unless he confesses, he'll kill him. He never gets the chance to prove it to the police but deep down, he knows that he's being followed. The man breaks into his house and even kills his dog. Mort can't prove what the man did to him because if he does that, he has to confess what he did. I don't want to give any spoiler so I'll pass the best part of it. Ps: don't read my personal thoughts. There's a spoiler.

Personal Thoughts: It was awesome. At first I thought of completely different things but the ending was... well... not what I expected:) Mort always looks for this guy and then it turns out that he is that guy. It was really surprising for me that he was schizophrenic. I can't imagine the scenes where he trashes up the whole house he lives in and then calls the cops to find the guy who did that. The scene where he realised he was crazy was pretty scary but also well played. Johnny Depp really did a good job in this one. Also the last scene was good too. I liked the idea that they've ended the movie with a scene related to the name.

X Men: Apocalypse

X Men: Apocalypse: 2016

IMDB: 7.4

Cast: Jennifer Lawrence (as Mystique), James McAvoy (as Alexander Xavier), Evan Peters (as Quicksilver), Nicholas Hault (as Beast), Lucas Till (as Alex), Hugh Jackman (as Wolverine)

It's about the time before the first X Men movie. Basically, it shows us how the events came to the point which are on the first movie. Some characters are played by the same people but there surely are some additional characters. It's ok if you didn't watch the first because their times are in the reverse order. X Men is a group of mutated people who has special powers and uses them to save the world form evil. This movie of X Men is about an ancient god reborning and trying to control the world again by killing all the humans. X Men, tries to save the world from the so called god.

Personal Thoughts: The movie was great and I liked it really much. Maybe it's just because I watched it at the cinema and I really like sic-fi I don't know, because some people thought is wasn't even good. The cinema has this effect on me. Most of the time I can't resist and automatically like the movie more. It actually was pretty cool. Especially the whole super power thing. I liked Evan Peters in this movie. I've never seen him playing such a goofy character before but the role suits him and he was adorable. He brings some casualness to the movie. I thought it was better than the first one because the new characters are cool and there are some really funny scenes. Of course seeing the actors I like together has an effect on me but that's not the only reason why I liked the movie. James McAvoy was definitely better looking than the old Dr. X. His love to Moira was cute. I liked the idea that he erased all her memory and met her again and again without her being aware of it. I still don't get how he can move objects with his mind but still can't move his legs?? As to the other characters,  Nicholas Hault is a really charismatic person so I wasn't quite happy to see him as the beast. Hugh Jackman was only in one scene in this movie and it was a pointless scene. About the reborned god... He was pretty funny:D I laughed at most of his scenes without a reason. He just comes out of nowhere and no one knows him. He keeps acting weird and everyone is like "wtf?" My favourite character in this movie was probably Quicksilver. I think you should all watch it, it really is a funny movie.

Water for Elephants

Water for Elephants: 2011

IMDB: 6.9

Cast: Robert Pattinson (as Jacob Jankowski), Reese Witherspoon (as Marlena Rosenbluth)

The movie is about the relationship of two people who work in a circus. Even if the circumstances are bad and their situation is not available for them to fall in love, the do anyway. Jacob is a medical school drop out so he works as an animal doctor and Marlena is the wife of the manager. She does tricks with animals. Jacob's patience with animals and her husband's  cruelty against them makes her consider her feelings about both of them.

Personal Thoughts: The scenes with animals were nice. Reese Witherspoon was so beautiful. Apart form that, they really looked like they were in love. I don't have much to say about this one because the movie was not complicating. If you like romantic movies, this one's definitely your type. It was a really sweet story.

Lemony Snicket's a Series of Unfortunate Events

Lemony Snicket's a Series of Unfortunate Events: 2004

IMDB: 4.2/5

Cast: Jim Crrey (as Kont Olaf), Liam Aiken (as Klaus), Emily Browning (as Violet), Jude Law (Lemony Snicket)

The novels of Lemony Snicket's are transferred into a movie. The movie is about three siblings going through some extraordinary stuff after their parents' death. They find themselves a new house every time but there's always someone following them and ruining their lives to get their parents' money. It's the story of the things they go through together and finding interesting ways to get away.

Personal Thoughts: It was my favourite movie when I was a child. At first I was scared of it because of the moody atmosphere and the weirdness of Kont Olaf I guess but after that I found the dark, moody atmosphere beautiful. The beginning of the movie was as if it was deliberately made to make the audience confused. I guess that was the happiest scene in the whole movie. Too innocent to actually be in this movie. It was nice that they've described the characters. All three of the children has unique qualities of their own and it wouldn't be the same if they didn't introduce the characters just as it is in the books. Jim Carrey was perfect and I think the movie deserved a better point. The settings were well made. They were as moody as the characters. I guess the film makers wanted the place to match with the characters' psychology after their parents died. I loved the falling house setting because of the view and how well it described the character of Aunt Josephine. I liked that they've used a specific drawing such as an eye to symbolise the death of their parents. There were lots of interesting scenes such as Kont Olaf's weird actor friends coming over to their house, children making a tent to stay inside even if they were inside a house, Aunt Josephine being kidnapped, Violet and Kont Olaf getting married in a play but actually getting married etc. I found it interesting that the children had so much creative solutions to save themselves. It's a really great movie which everyone should watch sometime.

The Art of Getting By

The Art of Getting By: 2011

IMDB: 6.6

Cast: Freddie Highmore (as George), Emma Roberts (as Sally)

George is an anti-social kid who lives his life quietly and unnoticed. One significant quality of him is that he never does homework. The movie is based on how he made one friend and fall in love with her.

Personal thoughts: My opinion about George is rather positive. Maybe the reason is because he has some deep thoughts and those thoughts makes him unique. He's an artist and has deep feelings about simple stuff. That's why I like him so much. He makes ordinary stuff extraordinary with his feelings. For example his love for Sally. Sally isn't anything like George. She's just friendly but George finds Sally so beautiful and that makes an ordinary girl extraordinary. I think George is a genius. Even if he sketches on his books whole lesson he can be successful when he wants. I found his shyness cute. My favourite scene of the movie is when the teacher thought George had no idea of a book that was assigned and George proved her wrong. Everyone was surprised and it was kinda cool:) I liked George's answer because his sense of romanticism is different from everyone else's. He finds the story being told by the perspective of a bug romantic. That shows how his mind works different. It's a teenage movie. The events were a bit slow but apart from that, it's a nice movie.

Victor Frankenstein

Victor Frankenstein: 2016

IMDB: 6

Cast: Daniel Radcliffe (as Igor), James McAvoy (as Victor Frankenstein)

The movie is based on Marry Shelley's "Frankenstein" novel. The story of Dr. Frankenstein is well known. In this movie, the unknown parts of the story has been told. Not only Frankenstein but the partner of him, Igor, has a major role in the story. It all starts with the story of a nameless hunchback that works in a circus. Works is not the right word. He's being tortured in front of people for fun. He doesn't know that he's being tortured because he never experienced kindness. If he disobeys, they lock him in an animal cage. The cage scene shows people's perspective about the hunchback. Still, it doesn't stop him from being a genius. He has to hide his intelligence and be trampled everyday to survive because that's the only way of living he knows. One day Victor Frankenstein comes to the circus and sees his medical talent. He helps the hunchback run away from the circus and gives him a name. Together, they work to achieve immortality. Frankenstein's reason to bring dead to life is because he believes he killed his own brother and feels like he owes this to him. The movie is based on his experiments.

Personal Thoughts: I watched the movie today and it was a good especially if you like sic-fi. Of course I loved the character of Frankenstein because of James McAvoy. He did a really good job. I realised he always has charismatic roles in the movies and it fits him. I first saw James McAvoy in "Becoming Jane" and I was literally in love with him. Last week I saw him on "X Men: Apocalypse" he was great on both of them. You should see those too. The thing I liked most about the movie was the scenes that Igor was a hunchback. It showed how they've valued him back then before he turned into the person he is. Also I always tend to find the circus scenes interesting. Maybe it's because of the idea of people coming together to entertain others. Igor was being beaten just to entertain them. Daniel Radcliffe did a good job on being the hunchback. His moves were so realistic. It really looked like he had a problem in his spine. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the movie:)

Catch Me if You Can

Catch Me if You Can: 2002

IMDB: 8

Cast: Leonardo Di Caprio (as Frank William Abagnale Jr.), Tom Hanks (as Carl Hanratty)

It's the true story of a professional liar. Frank, earns his life by faking his profession whenever and whatever he wants. It's the biographical movie of him. The FBI agent that tracks Frank is Carl Hanratty. This whole lying game of Frank is to prove Carl that he cannot be caught. The whole situation turns into a cat and mouse thing.

Personal Thoughts: I had a really great time watching the movie just like other movies I've written about. As I said before, Leonardo Di Caprio is one of my favourite actors and in this movie he's as awesome as he always was. Only the childhood scenes aren't that realistic because of Leonardo's age I guess. I enjoyed watching the games that they played to each other. I was surprised by how Frank always got away with everything. I think he's a true genius in real life and that makes the character even more charismatic. Ok, enough with the character. The whole pattern of events were surprising and funny sometimes. I recommend this movie to everyone who wants to enjoy their time.

Jeux D'enfants

Jeux d'enfants: 2003

IMDB: 7.7

Cast: Marion Cotillard (as Sophie Kowalsky), Guillaume Canet (as Julien Javier)

The movie starts with Sophie and Julien's childhood. They meet when Julien helps Sophie with the school bullies. Julien gives Sophie a box that his mother gave him before she died. They do pranks all the time while they grow up. As they grow up, these harmless pranks become more serious like ruining each other's weddings. Each time one makes a prank, he or she passes the box to the other. That's the rule of their game. They fall in love without even realising. Both of them thinks that this 'love' is a game. They set a time every time they're angry with each other and don't see each other until then. Their last game will be the most dangerous one of all.

Personal Thoughts: I find French movies strange but cute most of the time. French movies are full of small details. Just like in the movie "Amelié" the atmosphere is so unique that you can't find in American movies. The movie was full of love, culture and a lot of surprises. Two actors got married after this movie. Just as I said before, the movie is full of details like the box that Julien gave to Sophie. The box doesn't go anywhere since day one. The box dies with them. I think it's romantic. I'm not a big fan of romantic movies but sometimes I find them so cute. Especially the ones with the childhood scenes. Maybe it's because the innocence in childhood. Also the symbolic things are the ones that make their relationship unique like them always setting a time and always passing the box. Until they stop passing the box, the game never ends and that makes them never forget about each other.

Shutter Island

Shutter Island: 2010

IMDB: 8.1

Cast: Leonardo Di Caprio (as Teddy Daniels), Mark Ruffalo (as Chuck Aule)

The atmosphere of the movie was the same right from the beginning. It was all moody, dark and strange like something bad was gonna happen any second. It started as two US marshals (Teddy Daniels and Chuck Aule) investigating a place called "ash cliff" because of the strange absence of a patient there. Ash cliff is a place where they keep mentally ill criminals. Rachel Solando, the patient who went missing, suddenly appeared without any sign of running away. Teddy suspected strange things such as Rachel having no shoes while she ran away and no mark on her feet. Since the weather was bad the Marshals decided to stay there for a while. Teddy explained his partner how he had been searching for Ash cliff and found out they've been doing lobotomy to the patients. That was the reason he took this case in the first place. His partner thought it was too easy. once he started to find out about ash cliff, all of a sudden there was a strange case. what if all of these were an act just to prevent Teddy spreading the information about ash cliff to the world? They try to make Teddy go insane by acting as if he was insane. This way, they can apply lobotomy on him and prevent the secret informations to be known. I'm not gonna tell the most important part of the movie just to not spoil it :)

Personal Thoughts: I first saw this movie when I was 10 but couldn't watch it because I used to get scared so easily. I was in 8th grade when I first got the courage to actually watch it and I loved it because of the whole atmosphere and the ending. I personally love when it rains and the island were ash cliff was (shutter island) was so cool like there was just one building on the whole island (actually it looked more like a castle. It was the asylum)  and the rest of it was all forest. The Rachel Solando case was mysterious also she was a scary character herself. Still I liked that she was scary haha:) Leonardo Di Caprio was a perfect fit to the character. The ending just mixes everything up and you find out nothing you've seen in the movie was true.
