The movie starts with the first time Clementine and Joel meets. Then what happened seems blurry in Joel's mind. They fight and the next day, Joel goes to the store where Clementine works. Clementine doesn't recognise him. Soon he finds out she had a procedure (something like lobotomy that only makes her forget the memories about him) and he decides to forget too. While they're erasing his memories he realizes he doesn't want to forget and tries to save the memories but he can't make it happen. In the end, they meet again without their memories.
Personal Thoughts: It was wonderful. I've just finished watching the movie and it's one of the best movies I've seen lately. Clementine has this interesting personality, she's energetic, unordinary, sometimes mean but without being aware of it. Joel is the complete opposite of Clementine. He tries to be nice to people, he's shy, I think he has deep thoughts, unlike Clementine. She says everything out loud and that's what makes her an open book. I relate some things to myself from both of them. Even if they have opposite personalities, they fit each other. The idea of them finding each other again even after they've erased their memories was a pretty cool idea. I really liked the ending of the movie. It was sweet, weird (in a good way), complicating and great. I hope you guys will like it too.
